September 4-7: Somerset-Bridlewood to Fish Creek-Lacombe closure
Affected routes: Red Line
Affected stations: Somerset-Bridlewood, Shawnessy, and Fish Creek-Lacombe stations.
In effect: Saturday, September 4 at 2:35 a.m. to Monday, September 6 at 12:00 p.m.; SINGLE TRACK ONLY from Monday, September 6 at 12:00 p.m. to Tuesday, September 7 at 3:50 a.m. (73.25 consecutive hours)
Service summary:
Beginning September 4 until mid-day September 6, the Red Line will be closed between Somerset-Bridlewood and Fish Creek-Lacombe stations.
- The Red Line from the north terminates at Fish Creek-Lacombe station and runs on a 15-minute schedule.
- Buses will replace train service between Southland and Fish Creek-Lacombe stations, running every 5 minutes.
At 12:00 p.m. Monday September 6, CTrain service between Somerset-Bridlewood and Fish Creek-Lacombe stations will resume but will run from a single track only, meaning only one side of the tracks will be used for both northbound (Tuscany) and southbound (Somerset) trains.
- Red Line trains will single track from Somerset-Bridlewood to Fish Creek-Lacombe station and runs on a 15-minute schedule.

Why is this disruption necessary?
We are completing the following repair and maintenance projects including:
- Road crossing replacements
- Installation of crossing planks
- Switch maintenance
- Other projects, which may be completed as time allows.
September 3-8: Pedestrian Bridge at Anderson CTrain Station
Starting Friday, September 3 through Tuesday, September 8, Anderson Station Pedestrian Bridge will be closed nightly between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. for structural work.
The Anderson Station-Southcentre Shuttle will be in service nightly from 7:45 p.m. to 2.15 a.m. and runs every 15 minutes.
On September 3, Anderson Bus Terminal is closed for milling & asphalt work. The Shuttle stop will be on southbound Southport Way S.E. at 109 Avenue S.E.
